Boston Harbor

How was it we used to do that in high school term papers? Op. Cit?  Well, it appears that the reports for the past couple weeks have remained pretty much unchanged.  That report goes something like this: a mix of bass and blues blitzing all over the harbor.  Okay, not all over the harbor at one particular moment, but you get what I mean.

Ray Avitable had this two days ago:

Haba fished well this morning until the tide stopped around 0800. Birds from the airport to Lovell’s and beyond. 75% bass, 25% blues then all blues towards the airport when Shaun and I headed in. didn’t feel like chasing 4# blues in the chop.

SdMcdermott had this:

FYI- I was just eating lunch at Pleasure Bay, and there were two huge feeds going on in between Thomson and Spectacle islands.

G-Man reports:

Phew … its still going on out there alright.
Found fish at Winthrop, Castle Island, DI rip, and Faun bar last night. Good times.

I got my fix … tired and taking a few days off fishing.
Wife is ready to smack me.
Pick it up next week again.

Mark N. Cahill has been writing and editing for since 1995. He started fishing in the mid-1960's and caught his first striper off World's End in Hingham in 1966. From there on in it was an obsession. He loves fishing for tuna, and fly fishing for striped bass. In a pinch, anything with fins will do...
