The AMC Intranet was redesigned in 2004 to provide an easier means of managing user accounts. The solution was a self-service user account center that restricted access to the one thing all AMC employees had in common...an AMC.com email address. The site is maintained using a custom designed Content Management System that allows AMC personnel around the globe to manage their own content. Additionally, support was provided for username/password amalgamation via an innovative user control panel
The site was designed to allow users from three separate global regions of the country to see the news that is important for their particular region. They of course have access to global AMC news as well.
