Welcome to Snowfly Fly Fishing and light tackle specialist of Narragansett Bay and Block Island.
My name is Capt. Greg Snow and I would be honored to guide you on the fishing adventure of a lifetime. The season starts in early May as the striped bass shoot up Narragansett Bay to hunt for herring and bunker. The fly fishing and topwater light tackle fishing in Narragansett Bay during May and June can be epic! Come the end of June I am lucky enough to relocate Snowfly Charters out on Block Island.
For those that are not familiar with fishing Block: Mid-June through October is the best time to fish pristine and uncrowded waters. If you like tuna like I do then Block Island is as good a starting point as anywhere in southern New England. The juvenile blue fin tuna show up first, generally the first part of July but you never know. The bonito are not far behind and then the false albacore. |
