Dear All,

Does someone have some fly fishing ( Sailfis ) information for me of Roy Zancudo Golfito Costa Rica ? Planning to go
there mid Februari. Are they experienced with fly fishing ? Which captains ?

Hi - A number of my customers and friends have fished there and done well on the fly. A buddy of mine down here on the Cape took the lodge's first catch and release Blue Marlin on fly last winter. For further info. me email is:

I was there last March with 3 others. We tried spinning for Sails as well as fly rods. I busted off a sail and landed a Blue Marlin on a 10 weight rod. I was told that 10 weight was a little light for sails and that 12 weights were much better. I have no idea how I handled the marlin on a ten weight for 2 hours.Estimated weight 150-175. There were lots of sails,dolphin,roosterfish,jacks,and a few marlin when we were there.E-mail me for more information wc11@mediaone.net
