A few weeks ago, someone introduced me to www.successflies.com..and the products and philosophies found there.
I bought some of both basic materials and tied them exactly like the instructions said. On my first trip I caught specks, Red Drum and flounder along a brackish creek. I tied a few smaller versions of the minnow fly and absolutely slayed bass and bream in a local pond.
The reason I asked the subject question is that I have monitored this site frequently and don't ever remember seeing anyone mention Polafibre or Kinkyhair.
I don't have any financial interest in this, but it is extremely easy to work with and even the novice I am at tying I get realistic results.
What am I missing?
