Any Albie reports

Any word on Albies, anyone know if they are still around, the water temps have dropped some, didn't get a chance to get out for them this weekend.

Still some around North Beach at the Hook. You would need to be there early before the boat traffic trashes it. Like Sunday.

Thanks for the post, your right about that boat traffic, seems if you can get out during the week, you have a better shot at them.

We got one and saw a couple of others late in the day (6:30 - 7:00pm) on Saturday. A few surfaced just off the outside of the Breezy Point jetty.

They were small. The one I landed was no bigger than 3lbs.

That was really all we saw (Albie-wise) all day long.

They were outside the Hook in the North Beach area on Sunday morning. I managed to land one and I saw another boat land two. It was not very easy as the boat traffic was terrible and the fish were right in the wash.
