Today was actually better than yesterday. Thanks to a radio call from a fellow Reel-timer, my first stop was at Deer Island at daybreak. I was getting 2-3 fish on each drift by jigging near the bottom. This lasted until 8.

Next stop was Quincy Bay for some surface action. The fish were there again but a bit more finicky. I couldn't see the bait, so I guessed it was small and put on a 1/4 oz. bucktail jig. Bingo! Like yesterday, the fish were 22-27 inches. The action stopped around 11.

On my way back to the dock, I came across birds working near Spectacle Island and just had to stop. This time the fish were aggressive but smaller. The biggest was about 22 inches. there were so many of them, it was like catching macks. I finally headed in at noon, even though the fish were still hitting. Work is still required to pay for this fun.

Weekends are usually booked for me. If not, I'll drop you a line(no pun intended).
