This is more of a quick dispatch from the front lines than a report.
Chatham-South Beach, dead for me this AM. Canal this evening, met a friend at east end and it was pretty slow. The only fish either of us managed before I left for west end was a 32 incher. Absolutely no other hits.
West end was a different story. Two 30-32 inch fish and a dozen high-end schoolies, all on jigs. Torrential downpours, lightning turned on the fish although I was ready to head for the hills a couple of times .
