I will be on the gulf coast and keys Feb. 3-17 just poking around to see what's there and would appreciate any advise about salt water fly fishing that I might be able to sample without reservations, particularly anything I might be able to do by wading or renting a boat. I realize the timing is not great. I haven't been to Florida before but do have some experience with bones, tarpon, snook, and permit but species doesn't matter that much. I would just like an opportunity to break up the trip with some fishing. ANY suggestions would be appreciated. If anyone is thinking of going to the Pacific Northwest or BC Canada, maybe I could return the favor.
