We're froze up here in Alaska now, but I've finagled a combo vacation/fishing trip to Akumal or Tulum on the Yucatan peninsula next month and need some advise. From what I gather the big 3 are going to be scarse, although it may be high time for some Baracuda.
My 11 wt. RPLX King rod should be more than adequate, but I could use some direction on baitfish patterns for Cuda. I'm familiar with some of the more commonly used saltwater patterns although I'd appreciate any specifics for a fishery that's new to me.
