Anyone have a favorite Fishfinder? How about Panorama?

Lowrance makes great sounders! I've been using that brand for about 15 years and have been very satisfied with performance and customer service. I have had an X-85 mounted on my flats boat for the last three years. I don't have a console cover and leave it mounted and uncovered for 8 months out of the year and it's working just fine after all that exposure to the elements. A number of my friends also use Lowrance and are just as satisfied.

Garmin 240 seems to be taking over the former Lowrance crew. It is a lot cheaper and similar power/pixel count.
I have one and it is a very nice unit.
