Fishing in Mexico

Hi everyone,

I'll be going to Mexico from January 1st to the 15th. Does anyone have any info on the Acapulco area? I went last year there and found only deep sea sailfish charters.

I'm more interested in fishing for snapper, tuna, bonito, wahoo, etc either from shore or by renting a panga (those mexican style boats with an outboard). If you know any beaches, guides, or any other helpful info pls let me know.

I was thinking about checking the Ixtapa area as well but not sure. I think the fishing may be better there since it's less touristy.
