I've been no Nassau several times over the last few years, but haven't fished there. I don't believe there is much in the way of bonefishing on Nassau/Paradise Island, although the first bonefish I ever saw were in an artificial tidepool at the Atlantis. What I have done, twice now, is take the 15 minute flight to Andros for a couple days fishing with Andros Island Bonefish Club. Andros is only thirty miles from Nassau, but its a different world, with more flats than you could fish in a dozen lifetimes. So it time permits, I'd check it out. I'm planning on going back in May in conjunction with a trip to Nassau. If you do find some bonefish in Nassau/PI, let me know. Good luck.

I was just there Saturday. Even the hotel tour guides will tell you to go to Andros. Both Paradise and Providence islands are heavily populated and with heavy near-shore fishing pressure. You'll find the (offshore) charter boats under the old (east) bridge to paradise. They are pretty ratty, with rather poor gear. They were unloading & cleaning fish as we happened by, and there was some small bardacuda, couple of small wahoo, and the rest were rather tiny bottom fish. We asked them about flats fishing, and got the same answer.
There are extrensive flats on the south side of providence island, but even the marina operators and restaurants down there'll tell you how heavily the reef is fished. East side's also unbelievably filthy.
Your best bet for reef wading would be the area on the southside, between the Bacardi distillary to Adelaide village and the power plant, but I'd guess it's slim pickins'.
For a great Bahamian meal, check out Avery's in Adelaide village.
