Last summer I went to fish the canal at midnight. I left the dog in the car since it would be one less worry while clammering upon the rocks in the dark.
As I walked the service road I saw a skunk and thought what a great decision it was to leave the dog behind.
Well after fishing a couple of hours I returned to the car.
Put the dog on a 6' lead and proceeded to give her a chance to relieve herself.
Just behind one of the trash cans she found a skunk and got nailed.
3am in the morning I'm in the spare shower giving the dog a tomato juice bath. At least there is a protective covering in the back of the car or it would still smell of skunk today.
