My wife has booked a week in Aruba for the family. Anybody know anything about light tackle fishing down there.

Yes, do a search of the archives, on this and Carribean and Flats fishing forums. I've given up writing it up over and over every time someone asks.

I went to Aruba a few years back. One bit of advice is to check out boats before hiring one. A group of us went out offshore and boat plus gear were marginal,plus most of crew didn't speak english.We managed to drag in one large wahoo and a couple small kings. They do mostly trolling but there could be some light tackle options with knowledgable captain/s. So if you go,head to docks and check out captains and boats beforehand.
