Everglades in April

Can any one offer some advice on fishing the Everglades in April. I'm headed down there for around three days to warm up for the Northeast Season. I'd love to try fishing the backwater with a canoe or Kayak.......guided or unguided.

I've heard great things about the Gulf Side, as well as the Flamingo area.

The everglades national park will be great . I will be ther april5th---8th. in the chokoloskee area
