Last spring I brought my two son in laws on thier first striper fishing trip. After acquiring a live well full of herring, which by some miracle didn't require a trip to the ER to remove hooks from flesh,we headed to the fishing grounds. Right off one of the boys landed a nice one about 36".While holding the fish admiring it,the fish flipped, slipped from grip, and dove into the live well, whereupon all pandamonium broke loose. One yelled get him out he'll eat all the bait, while the other was finding out you can't tail a striper, and the thrashing fish was emptying the well allover the boat and fisherman.Eventually the fish was removed from the well and I was able to evaluate my condition(I had not really hurt myself laughing). One of those wish I had a video cam moments.
