Wednesday April 4th 2001 at the Hingham Town Hall located at 210 Central Street, Hingham, MA. is the moment of truth on this issue. LOCATING THE TRAIN LAYOVER STATION ON PROPERTY ABUTTING SENSITIVE NORTH RIVER MARSHLAND IS SIMPLY INAPPROPRIATE. ÊÊWe need to get as many people from the South Shore as possible at the meeting to voice our concern.ÊThis is a true opportunity for us to make a difference on a very important conservation issue.ÊThis is especially true since a viable site exists away from the marsh.
A final to point to remember is the location of the layover station for all practical purposes will be permanent.ÊTherefore, we shouldn't miss this opportunity to influence the committee on the final location.
If you want more detailed information on the meeting, please call Bill Stanton at NSRWA 781-659-8158.
