Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Celebrity Night April 18, 2001
The Southern Maine Chapter of Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) is very proud to announce that it will hold Celebrity Night on April 18,2001 beginning at 6:30 PM. The event will feature a presentation by well known author and conservationist Mr. Brad Burns. Mr. Burns, along with a handful of other fisheries activists, is well know for starting CCA in Maine and for spearheading the reintroduction of Striped Bass fingerlings in the Kennebec River. Mr. Burns has authored two books and many articles on the subject of saltwater fly fishing. The topic of Mr. Burn’s Celebrity Night presentation will focus on spring Striped Bass fishing in Maine.
CCA’s Celebrity Night will begin at 6:30 PM on April 18, 2001 and will be held at the Bull & Claw Restaurant on Route 1 in Wells, Maine. The event is free and open anyone interested. CCA encourages its members bring a friend. Free hot snacks will be served and alcohol will be available at a cash bar. Raffle tickets will be sold for a nominal fee. Fishing equipment, striper fishing books, lures, tackle boxes, and fishing line are some of the raffle prizes.
