Where are the herring and shad in the Hudson River Valley?
Water temps. are below normal throughout the whole river system and if we are searching for clues for striped bass, we have to start checking out the herring and shad runs.
If anyone is catching or sees herring or shad moving in your part of the River please post it. Water Temp. reports will help a lot too.
Yesterday an angler reported two stripers caught in the Tappan Zee Bridge area. One a 25" and the other a 27" striped bas.
