Does anyone have any experience using hilts molds to make poppers? I would be interested in any feedback as far as how the bugs held up compared with traditional material such as cork, foam, etc. Also, any info. on where I could purchase the molds and solutions would be appreciated. Thanks, Joel
I have the molds for the 1/2in. salt poppers and they work great. The poppers hold up better than the others IMO plus they can be altered to any size you need easily. I don't use many poppers anymore and have many already cast in the rough if you'd be interested. I'd also be intereested in selling the molds reasonably. Let me know and maybe we can work something out. rel
I've tried to e-mail you for the past 2 days but I keep getting the same message that the message is undeliverable. So here's what I have: the mold for the 1/2" skipping bug, some Mustad 2/0 popper hooks and about 50 cast in the rough poppers(didn't want the foam to go bad before it was used so I cast all the foam I had) and some mold release(which makes it easier to open the mold after casting ). I don't have a copy of the Jann's netcraft catalog that I ordered the mold from but they did carry the smaller molds and one larger one for saltwater. Does $30.00 sound agreeable. rel(ron)

Rel,
Sorry about the e-mail. I don't know why but I keep getting a message indicating that my mail-quota is full. I dumped all the mail I had and it still keeps sending it to me. I'll work on it. Anyway, $30 sounds fair. Where are you from?
