I will be in Cape May next week and am looking for ideas of where to flyfish from shore. Last year we found the jettys at Cape May Point and caught a few weakfish. Any info will be appreciated. Also, if anybody is willing to swap a boat trip, I am willing to trade for a trip on my boat this fall in the Watch Hill area.

Also try Sunset Beach.

Thanks for the info about Sunset Beach. Have you flyfished there? Any suggestions for flies to use or preferable tides? I was planning to start with a sinking line and Deceivers, but really have no idea what to use there.

Check out captain Lee Schilling and the boat "CHILLIN OUT". He runs out of Utches Marina at the base of the bridge in Cape May. Good guy and he catches fish. He only fishes the fly aboard his 25 Parker from the rips for stripers to offshore for sharks and tuna.
