The first annual "Block Island Inshore Fishing Tournament" will held Sept. 28-29. This a a 24hr/lottery style event. All proceeds will be donated to the National Children's Cancer Society. There will be both fly and spin divisions broken up into boat and surf categories. This tourney is being put on by local fishermen to support a great cause and to introduce some "off Island" fishermen to Block Island.
