Hi guys,

I am just starting a new job with a company based in Framingham, Mass. Per my research, lake Cochituate is well worth fishing. However it's a pretty extensive piece of water combining 3 ponds: North, Middle and South. I know that the State stocks the lake with rainbows and salmons. Any input about the best area of the lake to connect with those fish on a fly would be great. Any specific fly? Also where is the closest parking spot?

Thanks for your help

I've only fished there a few times but I have been skunked on each but one. There are Musky and Pike there as well so I bet the icefishing could be very exciting. No clue on flies... I'm mostly a live bait guy when it comes to fresh. Parking is available but access to all parts to the shoreline is not. Check the www.masswildlife.org site for the pond map.
