Thought I should mention that coming back from offshore on Monday, there were a few pods of Albies at the point, but it was thick, just south of the Shagwong rip at around 5:00pm. I stopped my boat so the guys down on the deck could throw a cast. The water was alive, or a gim'me, as Tuna calls it. My crew caught a bluefish on every cast with either a popper or tin. One guy was throwing a fly very well but didn't hook up. It was a small clouser, green and white. Don't know why, but we only stayed for 5 minutes tops. Maybe some albies mixed, because that's what happens this time of year but you have to put your time in. Anyway, that's my inshore undate. Shagwong was alive with fish.
