I guess I must have caught the next wave of migrants, as they sure were eating last night. Five legals from 28 to 37 inches plus countless 20-27 inch fish. Not a blue in sight, although this time I was in the east end where the water was quite a bit cooler. The strange part was the fishing got better when the current slacked. That doesn't happen too often when jigging, at least in my experience. Had to leave at the turn to east but there wasn't any letup in the catching.

Hope this storm doesn't blow them out. Big weather changes coming later in the week with the coldest temps we've had in a while. Right after the frontal change, that could mess things up as well. But you know what they say...the best time to fish is whenever you can get the time to do so!

I'll probably try again Wed eve.
