Has anyone hit Duxbury recently? I have'nt been down in a couple of weeks as the last 2 trips resulted in a couple of skunks. Any info. would be appreciated. I'm thinking of heading down after work sometime this week.

Plymouth, Duxbury and Kingston have been very good with lots of fish, blues and stripers, in the 25" to 27" range.

is there any fishin from shore down there? im thinkin of coming home on columbus day like a 24 hr trip so i was wondering if it would be worth it. thanks alot.

check out powder point bridge at the end of powder point ave, deluxebury...usually good schoolies working the flats...

also, try the plymouth jetty at the state boat lauch off water street in plymouth (walk to end of jetty)...

or take a run to berts beach, plymouth off rte 3a...

normally i would say to check out the nuke plant in plymouth but its closed for the remainder of the season...

I fished Powder Point this morning with a few guys. Action was pretty good, especially early. We got there at 5:30 and it was going strong but it turned off fast around 6:30.

The far side of the bridge has been good too.

Wollaston beach had ridiculously awesome action in October last year.

There is public parking on the mainland side of the bridge. It's a little dirt parking lot on the right. In the summer it fills up but this time of year you will be fine.

BTW, just got a report that they were all over the bay this morning. May have to run down tonight.

No problem.

Went down last night from 9-11pm. I decided to fish with clams from the bridge - wish I brought the flyrod or my lightweight spinning rod instead. Fish were breaking the whole time I was there. Guys next to me caught a few on Mack. Although I got a few hits I was unable to hook up. Oh well...maybe I'll have more luck this weekend.
