Heading to the Point this weekend? Never fished this late in the saeson, but heard good things...Are the Bass, Albies and Blues still on a rampage?? Any local knowledge would be appreciated!!

The best Bass fishing at Montauk happens late. In fact November is a great month. Late October is usually very hot, however the Albies are first to move south, then the blues, and lastly the bass. There is usually a Halloween Blitz at Montauk every year, so you are right on time. Howie

I was out last Sunday and Gardiners was dead. The only consistent action was blues around Shagwong. Hopefully this weekend will be better as the water may clear and the wind will be down. If anyone is out I'll be in a Mako 211 in a blue jacket. Who was out last Sunday? I saw a ton of guys FFing.
