Warren river access?

Someone stated that there was a herring run by the american tourister plant. Can someone disclose exactly where it is? e-mail me if you don't want to post.

Also, I've been scouting this area and have fished it for a few years in the spring. The only access I could find is where the bike path crosses over the river in warren and then in barrington a short distance away. Is there more access in the area from shore? I drove all over the place and could only find houses along the shore blocking access.

The bike path crossovers are lined with people fishing for tautog in the spring. This makes it difficult for anyone trying to toss a plug.

Any other places to fish in the area?

http://www.fortunecity.com/marina/bowcreek/99/ has some info on the Warren R., locations, and best tides to fish. Still not very detailed, but better than nothing. I've never fished it, but hope to this spring. Supposedly Colt St. Park nearby is another good spring spot.

<FONT color=black face="Times New Roman,Times" size=2>Colt State Park s good in the spring but can get really crowded especially on the better tides. I e-mailed jimk about the Warren River and offered if he needed more help in accessing it to let me know and maybe we could set up a meet. I'll extend the same offer to you- maybe we could all get together and go once. I grew up in Warren so I know othe rareas that&nbsp; have been good in the past. rel</FONT>

Sounds good to me, although my April weekends are already filling up fast with (arrgh!) non-fishing projects and by May it is usually all-Cape, all the time. A weekday evening may wind up better for me. Contact me offline.
