Well, Here's an attempt at a crease fly pattern. Looks nice on the bench but rides sideways in the H2O. Anyone have any suggestions...
BTW: Epoxy heat-thinned b4 application to reduce weight up top.

Thanx

Bob-you might try tying a keel of lead along the bottom of the shank to correct the offset ride. Another way would be to lower the placement of the eyes closer to the shank of the hook, or reduce to height of the foam above the hook shank. The solution probably is only a small adjustment in the placement of the materials. my .02 rel

All good suggestions, i resisted the lead 'keel' idea earlier because this is suposed to be a popper... (not to mention my lack of skill in casting real heavy flies);
I actually called Capt Joe Blados this afternoon and he mentioned that too much foam on top will cause it to be top-heavy but that when you start to retrieve it will straigten up and 'fly right'.

Riding sidewise is not all bad-it represents a wounded fish.

It looks to me that the hook is to small.Try using a hook that`s longer and has a wider gap.
