I will be down in Myrtle Beach the first week of April. Any good fishing from shore (fresh or salt) around this time. I'm bring my spinning reel and flyrod down just in case. I may ever stay a couple extra days if its good!

Thanks

I just got back from Myrtle Beach last Thu. and loved the area. Unfortunatly not much was happening as it was early in the year and a little cool. I had no idea what to expect but will next time. I suggest Pawley's Island, just past Murrel's Inlet. The north and south end are a shore bound guy's dream come true with the north end and it's breakwater looking the best(no liscense needed from shore). At the first turn off to P.I. coming from M.B. there is a hardware store with tackle and at the counter is a charter flyer that I grabbed but cant find right now. The guide has been there for 30 years, does light tackle and fly fishing.
He was recommended and sounds good, I plan to try him out next time. Let me Know how your trip goes.
