I'm looking into getting a rig for Blue Shark(4-6ft) and maybe some small tuna. I was wondering what line capacity I should be looking for also what lb test are you guys using?? I was looking at the Okuma Titus series with either 500/50lb or 700/50lb capacity.
Thanks Chris

I don't know the Okuma. I fished for big fish with a Tibor Gulfstream loaded with a shooting head set-up. I have no idea how much line is on the sucker, but I have yet to see the arbor. I fish it on a cheap 12 wt. and have caught blue sharks with it.
My thinking on big game rigs is to go cheap on the rods as they are more likely to explode than any other rig. Seeing a $600 custom Sage 12-wt. bite the dust on a yellowfin is not a lot of fun. Watching a $120 Outdoor World Gold Cup explode is maddening but not depressing. The reel is very sweet. I have two Tibors, an Everglades for my 8 weight-10 weight striper, bonito, bluefishing, bonefishing and the Gulfstreaming for the big, big stuff, including tarpon.
