Just returned from my first bone fish trip and wanted to post a note about my Ross Canyon LA. This was my first time fishing this reel and just wanted to say it was terrific. Hooked and laned a 26in bone and this reel did everything it was suppose to do. My other reel is an Abel 3N that I purchased 3 years ago. The Ross performed as well and was significantly less $. Also, the Abel arrived with a bent reel seat that had to be replaced. For that price it should have been perfect. The Ross is now my first choice.
