For Fall 2002 and Spring 2003, Tropical Fly Fishing have prepared two exclusive fly fishing trips to St Joseph's atoll and Farquhar Island, onboard the MV Illusions, a very spacious and comfortable live-aboard vessel. St Joseph Atoll has a reputation as a prime Bonefishing destination and is well established. Farquhar Island is still a very exclusive fly fishing destination and only a handful of anglers have wet their flies in these extremely rich waters. Two experienced guides will bring you onto the flats and assist you to catch Bonefish and other species like Trevally, Pompano and Barracuda and Blue Water Fly Fishing from the dinghies or from the spacious deck of the MV Illusions, can produce a lot of different Tunas, Wahoo, Sailfish or coral species like Jobfish, Grouper, Snapper and Trevally. MV Illusions offers two types of cabins: 3 double bed cabins on the upper deck (out of which 2 are en-suite) and 6 cabins on the lower deck, each with two separate bunks. All cabins are equipped with large fans for sleeping comfort, three meals per day, water, tea and coffee, and soft drinks are served every day. The bar is well stocked with beer, wine and liquor.

Week 1: October 11 - October 18, 2002. Week 2: October 18 - October 25, 2002.
A charter plane will fly you to Desroches Island (45 minutes) where the MV Illusion will be waiting. A few hours later, you will arrive at St Joseph Atoll, 27 nautical miles west of Desroches. Depending on the tides and the time of arrival, fishing will start in the afternoon,
either from the MV Illusions or on the flats.
$ 2970 ,- per angler (twin cabin), supplement single cabin: $100,-
PROGRAMME FARQUHAR
7 days, 7 nights, 6 full days guided fishing, limited to 8 anglers per week.
Week 1: March 14 - March 21, 2003.Week 2: March 21 - March 28, 2003.
A charter plane will fly you to Farquhar Island (90 minutes) where the MV Illusions will be waiting. After sorting out your cabin and fishing gear, you will be ready to fish! Depending on the tides, fishing will start in the afternoon, either from the MV Illusions or on the flats.
3,750 US$ per angler (twin bunk cabin)
Both packages include: full board accommodation on MV Illusions, two fishing guides, return charter flight to Desroches or Farquhar Island, landing fees. Packages do not include: international flights, airport departure tax (40 US$ per person), fly fishing rods, reels, flies, alcoholic beverages.
Tropical Fly Fishing is able to organise accommodation on Mahé Island to connect with your international flight, as well as transfers to and from the airport, but these are NOT included in the package. Luggage is sticktly limited to 25 kg (55 Lb) per person (charter plane limits) and soft luggage is mandatory.
