Strong SW winds 30 knots had many of us tied to the docks today. The Bonita are still making a good show for both fly and spin. Yesterday the Seaman encountered 4 at a time west of the reefs. Tomorrow is another day, hope the wind goes to the N and lays for the evening.
Big blues 10 to 12 pounds coming from the beach, # 3 wire albrighted to the leader helps save a few flies. Spanish have made their appearance and are sure to stay. Albacore staying off the beach in the cleaner water. The giant drum are still on the east beaches and the schools of puppy drum are in the marshes. Plenty of bait in the water, for all the fish.
Big Yellowfins and dolphin offshore, now this is loads of fun on the fly!!!
