have you thought about this.
Use GsP backing and a large 10 inch doill needle, and feed the GsP, 35/40lb, up the centre of 15lb Gudebrod braided mono for about 120 feet. When it exits the end, turn ither lot, gsp and braided mono and splice it back into the braided mono, now your running line. trim it and secure with a drop of Loctite 406 CA glue. Use a needle applicator.
Stretch the lot, run your fingers down the mono braid to get rid of twist ect and secure the lot with a drop of 406, you could use softex, every 10 feet. At the end, where the gsp exits the mono braid use softex.
It has no stretch, no knots is the breaking strain of the GsP line, has low water drag and shoots like a Texas Ranger.
Fit your choice of shooting head to the end, loop to loop and you are in business.
Some people do not like this idea, it removes knots, which are never 100% in GsP, it has the same stretch as the GsP, 3.6% and it is thin, and slick.
For the record I use this thing, and wouldn't use anything else with shooting heads. Cheers Max
