I would like to find a duck boat in good condition:

Here's the rough description:

In the Cape Cod Area (so I can look at it!)
would fit 2 hunters and a dog
along with a lot of decoys
has at least 20 HP, 25 is preferable
Is in good condition, as I don't want reliability issues when it's 6 degrees out!
Has a blind or could be rigged for one
something around 14 ft with a trailer

If you know anyone selling one please let me know.

I have a 12' sneak style duck boat the I use in Barnstable's marshes. Since my body style is no longer conducive to popping up from a prone position I am considering selling it and I find/make a replacement. But it would be to small for your needs.

Hi Bob,

Can two guys hunt fromt his boat or is a a one man only setup?

If it's two I would be interested in getting some details from you on the setup.

Thanks.

Not for sale but I've got a 13' Boston whaler I gutted and converted to a poor man's "Flats boat". I drop a blind on it come duck season made out of die-cut synthetic camo.

It has a carpeted casting deck with lockable storage underneath and a homemade center console with a passenger seat on the front of the console(again storage under as well as a deep cycle battery in console)

Driver sits on a rear"casting deck", essentially an 18" wide carpeted piece of plywood that spans across the top of the gunnels. The starting battery and (2) 6 gallon fuel tanks are under the rear deck.

Makes one heck of a luxury duck rig/mobile blind. Stable platform for either hammering duck or flyfishing. Problem is with a 40hp and a good hull you're gonna spend $3,500 But it is good for all year!!! Also fits in the garage. Beware of cheap Whalers. Once the foam between the hulls gets wet they get real heavy.

Sorry I don't have a photo w/ the blind on.
