Fished out of Fort Wetherhill on Jamestown last night . First time there. Great launch site. Lots of parking, Fast short access to productive deep water ant rocks. Three fish one keeper, all released. Good spot in a northerly. EKG

Whenever we find great put-ins with plenty of parking we should share them with the group.... just be mindful of those special spots we all have with limited parking. Broadcasting over the board could close you out if you are not careful.

Yes, that is a great spot, even for the family. I liva in MA, but was at that park kast weekend just bike riding and playing with the family. It's a scuba diver haven with loads of parking.

I saw at least a doz kayaks there with the scuba crowd.

I'm looking for company to try Brenton Reef at Newport some morning\evening on the kayak. That is if you'll be seen with a guy and a spinning rig, since I don't flyfish. :rolleyes:

When there is a nasty wind I use a spinning rod too. I also troll with one. I'd rather use a flyrod but... I,d be happy to fish with you. just tell me you don'tr use bait. After all one must maintain some standards.
