Fat fingeres the keyboard. Last night I fished the sand pits off rt. 24 N in Portsmouth RI, four decent fish. Completely enclosed salt pond lots of tidal flow and some serious rips. Also for night fishing a big radio tower and the nearby Mt Hope Bridge make finding your way home a piece of cake. On an inciming tide there is a huge flow under the bridge. At the Boay ramp on an outgoing tide there is a monster rip. I go at dusk or full dark. It is a popular seakayak launch as well. Unforunately it is also popular with jet skis. That is why I fish there after dark. Sand eels and a clamworm hatch

Good Show!

Is that a little dirt road right off 24?
I think I stopped by there a few years back just to look, and wondered how that salt pond worked and if big fish came in there. Got my answer.

Please add that to the list of places to show me this summer. ;)
