Any Montauk reports?

Guys, sounds like you did okay the last couple weeks. I was at the Cape last week and fishing was slow from shore. Does anyone have any recent reports from Montauk? Seems like the albie action should be picking up soon.

The "Tails" have been "Red Hot" this week with many boats landing 20-30 fish per boat...Longfins and yellows mixed. Not too many marlin, but plenty of Tuna action...I think you have a Condender, but don't know if you have the range. Don't know the weather reports but I think it's gonna be pretty calm...Check before going. Thought you should know. Howie

...I had a Contender. Contender 27 is my dream boat. Although I have enough fuel range my 21' Mako isn't really suited for a run to the tails. I was hoping there would be some action around the point. Weather looks too rough for me to head out more than a few miles this weekend.
