boat launch in new london ????

I might give a try at fishing Montuak this weekend, but have no idea where to launch the boat from. I will be traveling up 95 and it looks like new london or maybe niantic would be best. Any suggestions would be welcome.....

There is a very nice launch in Niantic. Plenty of parking good launch area. Near where the Myjoy leaves from.

Right off exit
First road on right
Launch is on left under I95 Bridge.

This is not the most scenic launch but it's close to the river mouth (2 mi) and it's free. I have launched out of here for the past few years when fishing the race and CT coast.

Tip...Stop at the light off Fisher's Island if you are in the mood for a few albies. Between the light and the red nun toards the shore of F.I. Did well last weekend in that drift...really well.
