anyone ever fish the Upper New York Bay on the Jersey side near Bayonne/Jersey City? Every couple years I have to go out there and monitor fish and benthos near an old military installation. We've observed some small stripers in the past, but the timing seems optimal this year..... I'll be out there in early October..... is it worth bringing the rod along? Any recommended places nearby?
