Good to hear from you. We braved the Shagwon rips on Thursday afternoon in the big NE/E blow-it was wild, fish everywhere, casting with one hand while holding on to the bow rail, hooking a double and trying to do a dance around the boat in heavy seas!!! Anyway, we weren't ready for a repeat on Friday AM, so we explored Fort Pond Bay but it was real quiet. Quit early and spent an hour or two cleaning the tackle, and then did a farewell to Montauk with some surf fishing at Tutle Cove for an hour-some decent action and picked up one big 10-12 lb blue, actually thought it was a good bass until it was in the wash.

Our week was amazing-70's and 80's Monday-Wed with light to moderate winds. Thursday in the PM was definately different! I agree with you comments on the bass boils at the point. Too many boats converge on one poor school of fish, while we got a few casts in and one or two hook ups, in general, we took off for different areas or went outside for albies alittle further offshore.

Best Regards-Mike
