I fished Walden and Whites Pond yesterday for a brief time. There were a few rising fish but I think they were the recently stocked ones. I think they were rising to midges but it was hard to see. They didn't want much to do with whatever I put out there. Basically the water was still too warm. It was 66 degrees. Looks like we have another week or so to wait. The trout are still down deep.
