Harwichport info

I'm invited to a party Saturday the 19th in Harwichport. Would like a helpful hint or two on getting in some fishing. I can bring down my kayak, leaving the Lund at home.
Also any info on a nice motel or inn would be appreciated.

Don't know about the fishing then (i'm going to Chatham the followsing week) but Sandpiper Inn is pretty nice, right on the beach just south of Windemere. Stayed there in July of 1999 and enjoyed it- also got schoolies and blues right off the beach in front.
