Since we now are offering the capability to our users of embedding video in their posts I wanted to provide some instructions for you.
First off, all embedded videos should have a thread title like this:
Video: My Thread Title
This will warn those with low bandwidth connections not to view that thread.
Viewing Video: if you are having trouble viewing video, I suggest downloading the latest versions of Windows Media Player (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.asp) and Quicktime (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/) - currently my favorite is Quicktime, but I am fickle.
Posting Video: You need to put your video on a webserver somewhere. If you don't have access to one, email me @ [email]markncahill@hotmail.com[/mail] and I will make arrangements for you.
Then you will need to use the following type of tag:
That ought to do it. Obviously, inappropriate videos, or those that are too long will be removed.
As always, if you have any problems, let me know and I'll get things fixed up for you.
