Tried a new pond in the morning with my uncle, not much going on. Cleaned up on yellow perch for the frying pan. No trout to speak of, guy on shore drilled a couple trout on shiners.

Around midday went to the old reliable ponds. Midday my uncle and I were immediately into fish. A couple Rainbows and a Tiger. As afternoon progressed, fish were on and off. For about an hour, while I was trying to untangle my coiled up, cold, crappy 333 sinking line, my Uncle picked up a bunch of Browns close to shore.

I finally regrouped, by around 3:30. I did pretty good on the evening midge hatch. Picked up 3 more rainbows all between 14-16inches.

Overall not a bad day minus the fly line disaster. Water temps were around 54, and the fish were in their typical fall sporadic feeding modes. My uncle got 8 trout(2 rainbows, 4 browns, and 2 tigers). I picked up 4 rainbows on the day.

Yes I bought 2 new 444 lines yesterday, an intermediate camo, and a fast sinking. 333 is on its way back to Cortland.

Weekend weather looks horrible, probably going to be 1 1/2 before next trip.
