As fate would have it i have to opportunity to spend a week at Hilton Head over New Years week. Never been down that way before.

Should I bring my rod? What flies? Any pointers for location?

Anything you could help me with would be appreciated.

Well, this is all second hand info or just deductions from other known facts but I know that there is redfishing in the Outer Banks of NC all winter long, and in Florida as well, and being between those two Hilton Head should have redfishing at that time of year as well. And I KNOW there is redfishing there as I have seen TV programs and read articles AND seen ads for guides working out of the area. So my deduction is that there should be redfishing there all winter long. I think the answer is a very strong YES, but you'll have to get the details from there yourself. I suspect if you just contact the resort they can either give you info directly or put you in touch with a guide or someone who knows more specifically.
