I believe www.njtackle.com has cnc equiptment to make their own casting molds and then uses them for lead and tin casting.
A source for pre-machined molds for the do it your selfer is www.do-itmolds.com
Good information to be found on this subject on the lure making forum at Stripers on Line
Hope this helps-

Just had a thought. If you plan to use the mold for small objects like Clouser style weights, it will probably require centrifical casting. Might be more equiptment than you want to get into.

Yes..it maybe that I should hire someone to do what I am think and drawing right now... I am working on regular clousers and and pliers...not the best..but if I can come up with a clouser head that is workable, balanced and keeps the hook up... we can tie bat fish or a whole bunch of flies we could not use for bottom striping... Howabout a nice Sedotti slammer swimming like a clouser near the bottom ..with no hook visiable since it would be up in the feathers and no visable clouser head.. I need to look into this for these feather brains I am tying since the tiing in of the clouser head will not work on that fly. Do you do this stuff...If you do please e-mail me... we will need thousands of little plastic bags also.
