The body is pearl braid colored pink w/ a marker.
The fly is a sparce bucktail deciever. Nothing to fancy.

Are you tying the front bucktail on to of the body braid or are you making room at the front of the the hook to tye it on the shank? Mine are coming to narrow. I did try it in the surf and the colors do look real good.

I made a mistake in previous post i left the P off of top.
Are you tying the front bucktail on top of the body braid or are you leaving space in front of the braid to tie it to the shank? Mine seem to come out to narrow. I did try it in the surf and the colors look real good.

Joe,
I tie it in front of the body braid and I pull it tight to flare it.Then I run it under hot water to bring it to shape. Hope this helps.
